Corporate team-building sessions or away days

Come and spend time away from the office and gain:
- Stronger relationships between team members through co-operating over tasks and having conversations while hands are busy.
- Connection to nature in a beautiful setting in the Slad Valley.
- Make a meaningful contribution to an environmental and community cause.
We can host teams of two to 30 people between March and November for either a full or half day session. We offer:
- Food growing tasks guided by our skilled growers including digging, planting, harvesting and processing vegetables. These will be tailored to the group’s needs and we can provide less physical activities for those who require them (e.g. seed sowing, cooking, light weeding, plant labelling, veg box packing).
- Farm tour including information about regenerative food growing techniques and our co-operative community-ownership model.
- Facilitation of on-site outdoor games, such as rounders, if wanted.
- Lunch cooked by our chef and food grower made from the farm’s produce and eaten together outdoors.
There’s a great sense of community and fun at the farm and a feeling of satisfaction and purpose in contributing to a system of sustainable food production that is feeding the local community. If you’re looking for something meaningful to do as a team then this is a great way to bring people together to build relationships between them – we find that bonding conversations naturally happen in this peaceful and un-pressured outdoor setting when people are engaged in farming tasks.
“The team had a fantastic day with you and came away feeling more connected.”

Food
We provide excellent food! No dry sandwiches here. Our main food grower is a trained chef and will cook you a delicious lunch from the farm’s own produce, supplemented with other produce (such as cheese, meat or bread) from other local organic or regenerative producers.
Costs
A session from 10am until 3pm for around 10 – 20 team members, including tea/coffee and lunch, has a charge of around £50 per head. This covers our time to plan the session, give a farm tour, staff support to ensure everyone can undertake meaningful tasks, provision of appropriate tools and the costs of refreshments and lunch.
Sessions of a shorter or longer duration or for fewer or more team members will have a different cost. We can also provide an outdoor space for meetings, with or without refreshments. Contact us to enquire and obtain a quote.
